How It Works. Together we choose a training program based on the type of training desired and location. Then we customize the training program by selecting the lessons that will bring about the best result for you and your dog.
But customization does not stop there. We have developed our training methods through years of study and observation. We have trained with many of the top trainers throughout the world and have reviewed scores of research on training, behavior, and learning. We have observed, raised and trained dozens of our own dogs and have been recognized around the globe as experts in canine behavior.
We don't lock ourselves into any particular training methodology; we use what is natural and what works for your dog. For one of our clients, a border collie with destructive and dangerous behavioral problems, what worked were a few days herding sheep. By working with, rather than suppressing, her natural instincts, we could then teach her to redirect those yearnings into more constructive behavior. It was a breakthrough that literally saved her life.
